What is D’Novo Lean Gourmet? D’Novo Lean Gourmet is a fresh meal delivery service. Our daily menus total 1,500 calories or less, but our program is much more than just a diet – it’s a lifestyle of simplified, healthy eating. Whether you’re interested in losing weight, lowering your cholesterol, increasing energy or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, D’Novo Lean Gourmet is designed to help you succeed. How does it work? Each evening, D’Novo Lean Gourmet brings meals for the next day straight to your home or office. The meals are freshly prepared daily and stored in a cooler bag with ice packs. Simply refrigerate the meals, enjoy them all day long, and each night we will exchange your bag for the next day’s food. How is D’Novo different from other meal services? Unlike other services which deliver only once or twice a week, D’novo Lean Gourmet prepares meals daily and then delivers them daily to your home or office. That means you don’t have the hassle of storing a full week’s meals. Also, since our food is prepared and delivered daily, you can be sure it’s fresh, without the preservatives other plans rely on to keep their meals all week. See Drew’s full bio here. See Janette’s full bio here. Should I speak to my doctor before starting D’Novo Lean Gourmet? Yes. Always consult your doctor before starting any dietary plan. Once you have done so, our nutritionist will work with you to personalize your program. What should I drink with my D’Novo Lean Gourmet meals? We recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day to ensure proper hydration. We also recommend limiting your caffeine intake. What if I go out to dinner? Skip the appropriate meal from your daily plan, and try to order a healthy meal alternative at the restaurant. What should I do if I skip or miss a meal? D’Novo Lean Gourmet recommends that you space your meals evenly throughout the day. Go ahead and eat it later in the day (as long as it doesn't become dinner.) The general idea is that you need to eat something every 3-4 hours throughout the day. What if I need to take time off? Simply call your D’Novo Lean Gourmet consultant or update your My D’Novo online account at least three days, or 72 hours, before you need to suspend your service. Your plan will be suspended until the date you indicate, and the days will be added to the end of your program. What if I have food allergies or dislike a certain food? If you have any allergies or dietary requests, your D’Novo Lean Gourmet consultant will work with you to design a program that meets your needs. How do I heat my D’Novo Lean Gourmet meals? When you receive your food for the day it is already cooked. You simply need to reheat it. Breakfast, depending on the day, is either hot or cold. Almost all of the lunches and snacks are cold for your convenience, and all of the dinners will need to be reheated. To reheat, we recommend removing the food from the packaging and microwaving for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, depending upon your microwave. What do I do with the empty bags and gel packs? Simply leave any empty bags and used gel packs at your designated drop spot, and we will pick them up when we deliver your new, fresh food. Unreturned bags and gel packs will result in a $15 service fee. Do you have a cancellation policy? To cancel, simply notify us at least 72 hours in advance, and all unused days will be completely refunded. Do you cater events? D’Novo Lean Gourmet caters corporate meetings and private events as well. Our breakfasts, lunches and dinners are always the topic of conversation when guests discover how delicious and healthy they are. Do you participate in corporate wellness programs?
